Examining the Child

Kiro Kids and NIP by Dr Neil DaviesIn teaching the Certificate and Masters courses in Chiropractic Paediatrics, Kiro Kids created a superb range of teaching tools with the assistance and guidance of several excellent medical paediatric mentors and colleagues. Despite the apparent younger ages of our instructors in the videos, the content is as relevant today as ever.

It is an increasing concern that the valuable clinical skills required to be a prudent, responsible practitioner are becoming lost as the clinical teaching hours in our medical and chiropractic colleges are diminishing. We are fortunate to be able to include this video in our NIP Academy Platinum membership level – this is a highly valued seminar!

Dr. Maurice K Easton MBBS, FRACP (Consultant Paediatrician) is the Clinical Director, Department of Paediatrics at Ballarat Health Services and Associate Clinical Tutor in the Department of Paediatrics, School of Medicine, University of Melbourne.

Paediatric examinaiton of the childDr Easton offers a comprehensive presentation on the technique of examining children at different ages. He demonstrates in detail, examination for the chest, abdomen, head & neck in addition to describing the assessment of growth.

A large number of clinical slides complements the presentation as Dr Easton describes some of the more common problems likely to be encountered in chiropractic paediatric practice.

The material presented by Dr Easton here is the benchmark for clinicians of all disciplines who see children as patients. Join NIP Academy to find out more.
